I was speaking to a retired Captain some time ago, and was told that the broker who aranged for a shipping Company to haul Iron Ore from a St Lawrence river port to a another port on the St Lawrence I believe the rate was $25.00 a ton the broker alone was getting $5.00 a ton, I find the rate you quoted a tad short.
