Quoting $5.00 per ton, 27,000,tons = $135,000, ships costs per day $20,000, allows for 6 and 3/4 days sailing time, can't get far with that, I am thinking the rate is much higher than quoted, some vessels get backhaul which is gravy I am told, other vessels do not,but the seem to make good money leading me to believe that the rates are a tad higher.
