I have a newspaper article relating to the ferries from the Times Herald printed in the mid 1980s. I will see if I can find it and scan it and send it in for posting. I seem to also remember what looked like one of these ferries, or at least a landing craft, up on blocks alongside the Black River just off of M-25 (Pine Grove Ave.) near the Holland Avenue intersection. This had to be from the 1980s to the mid 90s, but I seem to recall that this boat was moved or scrapped some years ago as it is no longer there.
