I believe its much like Herb said but I do seem to recall seeing photos of some ships being scrapped at the Port Colborne dock and seeing the pilot house of the Homer sitting along side the scrapping slip nameboards intact and all. I also seem to remember in the late 90s maybe early 00s that IMS wanted to sell the pilot house, but I dont think they ever did. I know though that both nameboards came off in those years and one was damaged due to it being welded to something else and one was pristine. Otherwise I am not sure of the fate of her pilot house. -Steve
