She had already been sold to Upper Lakes in 1985 before the sale of assets to Enerchem in 1987. Initially it was assumed that her engine could be used to re-power the James Norris but ULS found out that her engine was shut, they decided to use the entire hull for bunkering purposes and transferred the vessel to subsidiary Promvar Fuel in 1986.
