Also, wonder if any more of the ASC boats such as the American Mariner might carry a load like the Boland did to Port Colborne? Don't forget that the Mariner also carries some grain cargoes as well. Throw in another one and that is the Adam E. Cornelius which just recently fitted out from Toledo as well. She has carried grain in the past to Buffalo and just wonder if ASC would have her doing any grain runs this fall to Buffalo and possibly even to Port Colborne as well? Guess we will just have to watch and see what develops among the horizons!
Actually the American Mariner is due here today for CHS to load grain.

She finished unloading there this afternoon & departed Westbound. That's encouraging to see her take a grain cargo. She hasn't been here to Buffalo with one yet, but I knew they had her certified for grain as a backup for the Cornelius years ago & I'm still waiting for the Boland to show up one of these days.

For the past several years there has been at least one load of Ontario wheat to Buffalo. It has been loaded usually at Port Colborne but cargoes have also come out of Hamilton. Lower Lakes has taken many of these but I remember Kinsman Enterprise loading at Port Colborne, Courtney Burton loading in Hamilton and Canadian Transfer's first cargo as Hamilton to Buffalo. If this is the case expect to see the Boland in Buffalo soon.

Arrived yesterday, unloading at Southpier, formerlly NHB. Pretty sure it is a first although ASC vessels ahve been here at least once before. Have to presume it is an American cargo as it is coming from a US vessel. Not sure where she loaded.

In yesterday's News Channel it showed her loading grain in Toledo. I assume Port Colborne to unload.

I see the Boland on the AIS & she seems to be sitting off the grain pier at Port Colborne. Just wondering if anyone knows what they're up to there?
