Just out of curiosity though, what is the largest yacht that has ever come into the Great Lakes and the Seaway?
You would think Les Wexner's
Limitless, not long ago the world's largest yacht, would have been on the lakes at some point, but it spends all its time in the Northeast and on the Mediterranean, its home port Newport, Rhode Island. I'm pretty sure the largest would be the late Peter Lewis's converted salvage tug
Lone Ranger at about 255 feet.
It just occurred to me I have actually met both these guys. No yacht rides for me, though, alas!
