It is actually a barge and tug combination. The barge is mainly black. I have not been at this office for long, but this is at least the second time the same barge has been holding at the detroit anchorage for an extended period.

If it is a salty could be there waiting to clear customs, or waiting for a scheduled load to be readied somewhere up the lakes a bit more. Not uncommon to see a salty stay there for an extended time.

There is a ship that has been anchored off of Detroit for several days. The same ship has been anchored there for an extended period of time previously. Can anybody offer me an explanation?
