Looks like the new hull color matches the mud beneath the port anchor.

Here is a photograph of the J Burton Ayers undergoing the transformation to the Cuyahoga at Sarnia. The Columbia stack colors are still visible along with the beginning of her gray hull by the draft marks on the bow.

Kind of ironic if you think about Les that it was in Sarnia where she was towed as the J. Burton Ayers and then she later became the Cuyahoga of course for Lower Lakes. Sort of like you said that it is a "homecoming of sort for the Cuyahoga this winter!" Well the old saying goes "What goes around comes around!"

I know, Denny. I sailed for Columbia and that is why I noticed it. Maybe she is sending a message that she wants to come home.

Don't forget Les she was once a Columbia boat at one time known as the J. Burton Ayers before she was sold to Lower Lakes Towing.

With the sun on her hull, the Cuyahoga coloring almost looks like a Columbia boat
