Re: CSL St. Laurent updates
Thanks Tim for your kind words and comments. Glad I can help out in anyway possible as far as sending in and giving updates on the CSL St-Laurent. I agree also as I cannot wait either to get out there in the Spring and start photographing the new vessels from China. I know that they were built in China for CSL but, at least it is something to look at, watch and photograph and better than not having anything at all!
Re: CSL St. Laurent updates
Thanks for all of the info Denny. I am looking forward to getting some great photos of both of them this year.

Re: CSL St. Laurent updates
As of 8:55 p.m. on February 12 she has now officially arrived in Montreal at Section 27 for Winter Lay-up. She now joins sistership and fleetmate CSL Welland which arrived on January 2 also on her maiden voyage from the shipyard in China. Both vessels are now in winter lay-up in Montreal and will join the CSL fleet in the Spring of 2015 with the commencement of the Great Lakes/Seaway shipping season when it officially opens and begins. So, let me be the first of many to officially say "Welcome home CSL St-Laurent and a job well done!" 3 Long and 2 Short and we'll see you someday on the St. Clair River along with your fleetmate and sister CSL Welland.

Re: CSL St. Laurent updates
As of 10:15 a.m. on February 12 they are now past Quebec City and heading for Montreal for lay-up. They briefly arrived in Quebec at 0750 this morning and departed at 0818. Their ETA for Montreal as far as I know, has not been updated but I expect they should arrive by the end of the day sometime.

Re: CSL St. Laurent updates
They are still moving as of 4:45 p.m. on February 3. From the AIS map and Trillium Tracker from the CSL website, they are now up near Jacksonville, Florida and heading north up the East Coast. Should be in Montreal barring any weather delays probably this weekend sometime.

Re: CSL St. Laurent updates
Thanks to both MattJ and boatbuddy for your replies and response. That would more than likely explain the reasons to why then that the CSL St-Laurent hasn't moved in the last few days. Have not had the chance to look up where they are at this morning so, don't know where they are at and if they are still stopped or moving once again? I will definitely keep on looking and tracking her as she makes her way homeward to Canada and Montreal in the next few days. Thanks again.
Re: CSL St. Laurent updates
CWB Marquis also anchored off Melbourne for a few days. There was a storm to the north east at the time.

Re: CSL St. Laurent updates
Denny Just a guess but there is storm and gale warnings up for much of US Atlantic coast. Thought maybe there could have been a Cape Canaveral launching but none scheduled for 7 more days. They have been sitting for past two days.

Re: CSL St. Laurent updates
As of 9 A.M. on February 1 they are still near Melbourne, Florida in about the same location as they were yesterday. Are they possibly at anchor for weather or mechanical issues or something else of that nature? Also, I see now on some tracking websites that they may be due in Montreal around February 7 in the early morning. Does this sound right to anyone that may be tracking her arrival into Montreal? Any information on them will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: CSL St. Laurent updates
AIS shows the CSL St. Laurent is at anchor off the Florida coast since at least last evening. Does anyone know why she is stopped?

CSL St. Laurent updates
As of 10:15 a.m. on January 31 she is heading up the Atlantic and is near Melbourne, Florida and south of Cape Canaveral, Florida as well. Does anyone know when she is due into Montreal for lay-up as I have not seen any Eta's listed on any tracking websites yet for her? Thanks.
