Grandma's Gardens is on canal park, you park behind it buy driving buy the Rock mountain chocolate factory, and turn left and your in the back parking lot. I have the weekend of February 12th and 26 th off,Are there others interested in ,or have opinions on these Sundays?,MY march is pretty booked!Grandma's Gardens is pretty casual,it's a pizza buffet in the summer, but I do not know if there are anything special in the winter,a menu and bar stuff! mn brett

Never been to Grandma's Gardens, but sounds like a good option. If we started mid-afternoon they shouldn't be too busy, shouldn't be hard to get some tables together for whomever can make it. I'd definitely make every effort to be there. March 25 is the GLSPS event in the Twin Cities, so that would be a good weekend to avoid.

I've met new Great Boatnerds both time's We had a gathering!,It's just so hard to plan anything in Duluth with the Volatile weather,or a place to hold it without such a time window,or expense!,I was thinking of Grandma's gardens? could We just show up,eat there food, buy there drinks and stay a few hours? be it 3 to 6 or 7! if We have the want to!Duluth is set up for tourism!,and what We would like to do don't turn out the People and Money like it's set up to do!,Could I have some thoughts on the matter? because a 3 hour window at Blackwoods was not enough time! thank You mn brett

If that was that the get-together on a Sunday afternoon at the Blackwoods Inn, I missed it due to the weather, but would make a concerted effort to attend if held this year.

Duluth winter boatnerd gathering?

Can't believe it's almost the end of January again & already. Just wondering if there's been any thought given to doing another Winter Boatnerd gathering in Duluth this year. Was a good time last year despite the snow.
