Hi Castaway,
Most of the time it is just luck, sometimes not lucky. I check out the schedules too. There was one schedule I used that seems to be gone now, so things may get worse. I lucked up last night & caught the Joseph Block.

The Duluth Shipping News site has a schedule of arrivals and departures, which is updated throughtout the day. There is a link to it on the home page. Or go to Duluthboats.com.

So is it luck of the draw, Boatkitten, or do you have a schedule of boats arriving and departing Duluth? Because I visit that cam all the time, and seldom do I seem to catch anything.
