Does anyone know if she along with any other of the LCS ships that have been built at Marinette or down on the Gulf Coast have any IMO numbers or even call letters or signs? Not sure which one but I want to say and guess that maybe the USS Freedom I got her call sign and letters but don't recall what they are? Have not seen or heard yet if any of the others have call letters or call signs or not? If anyone knows what the Detroit is and how you can find out the rest of them, please post that information here. Thank You.

The U.S. Navy has been using low vis hull numbers on ships since the mid 1990's.

USS Detroit Pennant Number

Is the USS Detroit's Pennant Number (7) painted in some type of low visibility paint? In most pictures it seems very light and invisible in some lighting conditions. In addition the in the stern view of the picture taken by Mike Nicholls on the 10/22 News Photo Gallery the number appears to be a 5 or 8 at the bow which must be a trick of the light or shadows of some hull extrusions as there is clearly a 7 painted clearly on the stern and one at the bow in the bow view taken by the same individual.
