I find this unit to be interesting. Puting that boom on there makes sense, but that barge has such a deep hull! Where do they intend to use it to get the most out of of it's full capacity? Did anyone confirm if that boom came off the Frantz?

I overheard on my scanner that the tug and barge are going to Bay Shipyard at Sturgeon Bay Wi for a refit.

Thats what the captain told Seaway control.

As of Sunday a.m. Mary Turner now at wharf 17 in Port Colborne, large crane in place to lift the unloading rig, not sure if it will be today or wait for regular workday

The unloading rig apparently for the barge Mary Turner has been moved to the edge of wharf 17 the old furnace dock in Port Colborne, refitted and painted. I assume it is from Jos. Frantz but appears to have been rebuilt as well as painted. Not sure if it will be installed here or moved, it is on a multiwheeled flat bed.
