You would certainly feel vibration in the ship. Fortunately it is a controllable pitch prop, so it is possible to change out one blade, without unshipping the whole prop.
It is repairable by trimming and grafting a new leading edge on. It is best donein a shop. It could be done in the field, however not likely in winter.

If that is indeed a missing piece or even a dent/bend/ding that large, it would certainly cause issues.

CSL Laurentien Stern Photo March 9th

A photo from March 9 Photo Gallery shows a piece missing from the prop on the CSL Laurentien, and I was wondering if a piece that big would cause vibration issues? Also, could that cause other problems with grears and such?
