Photos of PI out of water may be hard to come by in general. She usually only comes out for 5 year or something very serious. PI has a custom built coffer damn that allows service to be done in the water.

Heard her give Seaway Long Point a call on the VHF at 2000 hours June 8th arranging for Seaway Inspector on arrival to Port Colborne. AIS has her east of Long Point at 0850 hours.

You are indeed correct that the Presque Isle tug at least is indeed
heading to Port Weller, Ontario and to enter the drydock for its
5 Year Coast Guard inspection. In years past I do not recall
how long the inspection usually takes in weeks however, I am sure
that someone with more knowledge and info on the subject will
know. Hope that this helps.

Presque Isle dry docking

Vessel Passage lists the Presque Isle coming to Erie for dry docking. Is there a problem or is she due for her 5 year survey. If it's her 5 year is the tug going to PWDD for her 5 year? I don't think Don Jon's graving dock is deep enough for the tug. Thank you in advance for replies
