Our great government has decided that this treasure on the lake is not worth keeping and the lands are to be put up forsale
shame on our great government
Which one? The federal government has offered the whole site to the province and to the city for a token amount. Neither has taken it up and only come up with lame excuses for not proceeding. Its up to the citizens of the city of Kingston to pressure their city representatives. There is infrastructure money from the feds available for cultural projects. The city seems more interested in the property tax revenue it would receive from condos then in operating a museum.

What will become of the treasures within it's walls? Do they still have the former Coast Guard vessel nearby?

Hi News paper reports tell of Kingston losing its marine
museum. Our great government has decided that this treasure on the lake is not worth keeping and the lands are to be put up forsale
If anyone has not been to this museum or wants to go I suggest that they put it on their to do list as this may soon be just a memory
