its still belongs to the owner - afloat, awash, or sunk until he gives up title. old wrecks belong to the state.

how does one go about salvaging a vessel from lake ontarios waters. what are the legal things that one would need to do in order to become the owner of the salvaged property. also what is the law if you found a floating vessel adrift with no one onboard? thanks
