that number for American vessels might be a little high.

also, the salarium had coal from Chicago.

ABC News on Friday night said 60 ships are stopped or moving slowly due to the St. Mary's River backup and ice on the Great Lakes. Maybe 35 American Lakers, 15 or so Canadian Lakers, and 10 Ocean vessels?

I noticed that a lot of ships are idle, do they not travel at night or is the ice that problematic? Are they waiting for a escort?

There were plenty of boats/ships/vessels to be seen today. When I took the picture of salties on the hook in lower Lake Huron, there were eight. By the end of the day, three more had joined the group.
