you are correct on the michipoten, she has been there since december gettign a new engine.
to raise the stern to replace the prop without a dry dock all they do is just flood the forward ballast tanks and leave the stern ones empty. this raises the stern enough to get the work done.
also there red ship is the CSL Assiniboine. the newer styled lakers have a layout very similar to the 1000 footers, the exception being the length and width, the CSL Assiniboine is 739' x 78'
