The Toledo Antique and Classic Boat Show at the new National Museum of the Great Lakes in Toledo will include dealers in outdoor booths, as I understand it. The dates are August 23 and 24.

I emailed Paul LaMarre III with that question a couple days ago, but have not yet received a reply.

I had a great time at the marine mart. Does anyone know if there is to be a similar sale this summer in Toledo?

Just added a few more Lakeboats Books to my collection from this year's Marine Mart. Also had a great time seeing and talking to Roger and having him sign copies of my 2014 KYS book thanks to Roger for taking the time to sign the book. Also saw a few old friends I haven't seen in a while as well. Was even better seeing a few ships pass out on the river as well. Overall, indeed it was a great day all around and hope to be back again next year as well.

Yes it does. Information has been posted on the News Page and the hours are from 9 A.M. until 3 P.M. this Saturday. There will be plenty of vendors and merchandise to pick and choose from along with viewing and looking at. Roger Le Lievre will also be there with copies of the 2014 Know Your Ships book and selling them also. Weather is supposed to be fantastic and let's hope now we have lots of boat traffic to view and watch that day as well.

As "Guessed" pointed out earlier, all kinds of artifacts are offered from around the Great Lakes. The Lake Huron Lore Society is the organization that has been hosting it since its start at the Port Huron Museum more than 30 years ago.

I expect to be there, with Know Your Ships aplenty (spirals too!)

The mart has been held at the Riverview Plaza Mall in St. Clair for the past 5 years on the 2nd Saturday of June, due to another group that uses it on the 1st Saturday. It was previously held in Port Huron on the 1st Saturday of June for decades.

That sounds great I think I will go and take a look. Hopefully I'll be able to pick up a few books that I need and maybe a couple of post cards that have eluded me.

the Mart is not limited to Lake Huron Lore. It's a great opportunity to see what's available to collectors who might otherwise have to acquire onesy-twosy.

The only thing I haven't seen there is an anchor... but maybe I haven't looked hard enough. There are lanterns, life rings, photos and postcards a-plenty, some amazing artwork, models, DVDs, magazines, books, periodicals, various hardware, and much more.

it's also a great place to meet fellow fiends, and some neat dealers.

It's trite, but... "try it- you'll like it"

I see that this year's Lake Huron Lore Marine Mart is scheduled for next weekend (June 14, 2014), I believe this represents a change from the usual first Saturday in June in the past.

Does anyone know who will be selling this year?
