From my experience , and looking as closely as I can at the control panel , more than likely not . When loading the mate and loading supervisor go by a loading plan , and any ballast pumping is monitored by the engine room at the ballast pumps , where the tank level gauges are , and the watch on deck who sound the tanks during pumping and stripping .
I never sailed on a boat as new as the Cort. I just thought maybe things had changed from the years that I sailed.
