Thanks Richard for your help, information and updates on Toronto and the ships laid-up there. Also, a huge thanks to Jay Bascom as your information and updates is exactly what I was looking for and much more. You guys were a great help and I appreciate and thank you both for the information and updates. This should help out in more ways than one. Thanks again for all of your help.

Having gone there fairly recently for the same purpose I can say:

Pineglen is tied up at the recycling/garbage dock MT35. Go down to the Sherbourne Commons (by Corus) you can't miss her. You can get a better view by going down Poulson street to the park, watch out it's icie and I almost slipped in there. On the right is a fence with a little opening, no idea if it's a restricted area, but I went in there anyways, it's also covered in ice and you'll have to lift your camera above the high barbed wire fence at the end. I wonder if my footprints are still there. Lol.

Algoma Navigator is on the right side of the Cherry St liftbridge (heading south), on the left side of the channel.

English River is in the LaFarge slip by Poulson St, you can probably get something good through the gaps in the fence, I didn't go in there. You can also go to the T&T supermarket parking lot and shoot over the fence.

Don't know where the Roman is because she wasn't there when I visited?

Metis is in her usual spot.

Jadran is in her usual spot, some of the signage is gone now.

Empire Sandy and Kajama are tied up close to the Harbourfront Center.

Pineglen is on the west face of Pier 35, facing south.

Metis is on the south side of the old Essroc terminal at Villiers Street, while the Roman is at the new Essroc terminal on the north side of the Leslie Street slip off the turning basin.

English River is at the Lafarge terminal on the south side of the Polson Street slip.

Algoma Navigator is at 512 - the north face of pier 51, at the mouth of the ship channel and just outside the Cherry Street bridge.

Jadran, the former Captain John's restaurant, remains at Pier 27 in the Yonge Street slip.

Thanks everyone as the map and information helps somewhat but, I was just hoping and curious that someone from the Toronto area might have known "off the top of the charts and right away as to what piers or berths the Algoma Navigator and the Pineglen were at this winter?" I am also not sure what the pier and berth numbers are that the Roman and English River are at other than they are both tied-up near the cement docks that they unload at. Anyone that has any further information to add regarding the docks, piers and lay-up berths in Toronto I would greatly appreciate. Thank You.

According to AIS the last location of the of the Algoma Navigator is at the start of the ship canal on the south side. Not being familiar with the Port of Toronto, you gave me the excuse to web snoop around the port. The whole port area looks in rough shape, really sad. If you pull up this link you will see where all the berths are. I believe the Navigator is in berth 512 or 513.

Using the same link, if you mouse to the north and find Commissioners St. crossing Cherry St. the Pineglen would be at the end of the pier perpendicular to the street and slips. There is a huge warehouse there and the rest of the area looks like it has been turned into a inactive storage yard. Street view from Cherry St. down Commissioners St. towards the bay appears to be an entrance with a guard shack that isn't used any more. There are two yellow signs that say "GFL" we buy scrap on them. My point being, this area might have been part of the original Port of Toronto with slip numbers at one time, but now is 3 places to layup. Maybe a boatnerd from the area could fill us in.

I believe that the Algoma Navigator is docked at Pier 512 next to the Cherry Street bridge.

Can anyone please give me the dock names that the ships are at in Toronto for Winter Lay-up? I know that the English River along with the Stephen B. Roman are at the cement docks but, what of the Pineglen and Algoma Navigator? Anyone know the dock names and sites that they are laid-up at? I am not too familiar with the Port of Toronto and its lay-up berths and docks so, if anyone has any information I would very much appreciate it. Thank You.
