The Minneapolis Institute of Art (MIA) is probably the biggest museum in the Upper Midwest outside of Chicago. Right now they have a photographic display titled something like: "One Hundred Photos From the Past One Hundred Years (one photo from each year). For one of the years in the 1990 decade, they have a stunning picture of the Peter Meisner at a Thunder Bay grain elevator at nighttime. It is nice to know an institution as prestigious as the MIA appreciates lakeboats as much as boatnerds! I wish I would have noted the photographer's name. If I get back there, I'll post it.
