For anyone that is following or keeping track, Algoma Transport has arrived in Sarnia, Ontario overnight last night and is now at the Sarnia Government Dock for Winter Lay-up. They arrived at their lay-up dock early this morning on February 7 and are now secured for the Winter.

Looks like she is headed to Sarnia for Winter Lay-up. There are two different sites that confirm this one being marinetraffic.com and the other being Philip Nash's Algoma Vessel page and his reports. Right now they are due into Sarnia for lay-up I suppose sometime on Saturday, February 6. If they are headed to lay-up in Sarnia, this will leave then only the Algoma Mariner presently running for the Algoma fleet. I recall a few years ago where they had her run all winter long and I suppose that the same thing may happen?

Look at the date. The ais destination of Green Bay is from January 13. It is bound for Milwaukee.

It is no doubt waiting out the high NE winds associated with the snow storm which is hitting the upper Midwest.

As seen on AIS, the Algoma Transport has been in the area of Charlevoix, MI for at least 24 hrs. AIS is also reporting a destination of Green Bay. Is there a problem?
