On April 14, The Windsor Star reported "It has a kitchen, washroom and crew accommodations below decks."

Engine 58 will not be retired as of now. The Christopher Wheatley is to be designated Engine 2. There are several different proposed uses floating around the department right now. One is that Engine 2 will be docked on the Chicago River and Engine 58 on the lake, however there is not enough manning for an additional Engine Co. per union contract. Another rumor is that 58 may be sent to the southside near 95th Street or Lake Calumet, however again manning is an issue. The most likely outcome is that 58 will remain on the lake as a reserve engine/sleeping quarters to Engine 2, which does not have sleeping quarters on board.

Well...she was in the news here just this past December when she "rescued" a coyote from an ice floe offshore of Chicago's lakefront:

I am assuming that this fireboat is being retired, and so what will be its fate?
