I was going to ask that very same question Guest and glad to see that I am not the only one out there wondering the same thing as well on her. Thought surely that last month a few boatnerds and especially ones from the Twin Ports area thought that she would be going out by mid-September give or take. Well we are now at the half way point of September and nothing yet from the HCJ and as far as I know, no official word or announcements yet from ISC on their website as well. Maybe with most all of the ISC ships running and the demand for cargoes other than grain or wheat of course being down right now (I hope I am right here), maybe there is no immediate rush yet to get the Jackson out right now if I am making any sense here without issues? I am not sure what the demand is right now for iron ore and Yes I see the ships are busy hauling ore loads but, it can't be too high as ASC still has the St. Clair and the IH still laid-up along with the American Courage as well all three of which sailed in 2015 and have not sailed so far in 2016 and were also not expected to do so. The Munson I know is still in Sturgeon Bay and getting her re-powering done like the Jackson although, the JGM was not due to sail anyway in 2016. For some reason USS/GLF does not seem to be IMO in any rush to finish the job of re-powering the Munson yet. Sorry to go off subject here just me trying to make a point in a good clean way. Anyone hear anything on when the Jackson might be coming out and sailing this season?
