Keep in mind that the Soo Tug parade & races are held in conjunction with Canada Day (July 1) not Engineers day. Engineers Day is always the last Friday in June; the parade & races are held the weekend closest to July 1. Some years the events coincide, some years they do not.

Owen Sound is having tug boat races the weekend of July 25th

You may want to try checking the Calendar of Events page on the
homepage of this website as it lists all of the events and also the
activities for Engineer's Day Weekend at the Soo. This should tell
you when the date and times are for the Tug Boat Races as they
usually have them every year at the Soo.

The last time I was at the Soo for Engineer's Day weekend they had tug races on the saturday. Anyone know if thats happening again this year?
