There are many curling clubs in Montreal which would offer the crew a place to relax and enjoy a few 'ends'. what a great way to spend the day after Saint Patty's day and enjoying a few pints of green Canadian beer.

Montreal does not have a NBA or MLB team. Yes a NHL team. If the Little Rock were in transit wouldn't the crew have work duties/chores. I'm guessing that's what they are doing now. I'd be more worried that a War ship could not transit in ice

It's 350 miles from Toronto to Montreal. Not even practical to do.

No news yet on free hockey tickets for the crew but I think that Canadian beer may be consumed this Saturday for Saint Patty's day !

Don't forget to stop in at the local Tim Horton's for the famous and rich coffee and other items that they offer as well. They should get free coupons at least for Tim Horton's for all that they are doing and for all that the crew has faced and endured. Still glad to hear that the crew is doing well and going good deeds along with taking the time to enjoy the great city of Montreal, its surroundings and people as well. Good job USS Little Rock crew and 3 Long 2 Short!

They need to head to Canadian tire for some hockey sticks
A spirited game of street hockey on the dock is in order
Canadians love a good game of street hockey!
A great way for the crew to pass some time

As an American, I was VERY proud to hear about the crew of this ship helping at a shelter in Canada in today's news section. I want to thank the crew for doing a GREAT job, going above and beyond their call of duty. You men make me very proud to be an American today.

A few free hockey tickets would help pass their free time.

I believe she stopped in Montreal due to ice and has been docked there awaiting the ice melt
As reported in the local media the crew of the Little Rock has been volunteering at a homeless shelter in the city

I see shes still in Montreal. Whats the latest on her? At first she broke down in Port Colborne from Buffalo and at some point heading to Montreal she broke again. This is a brand new boat.
