She was only in for thruster tunnel repairs. Location of the repair at the bottom of the tunnel made for lengthy cleaning process, as the back side needed to be cleaned before hot work took place. No 5 year inspection work was done. all crew was on board.

Could have done some other below the water line repairs but the stern thruster was the main reason for drydocking

Wishful thinking and probably a dumb question but, I don’t suppose there would be any chance GLF would fit out the Anderson right now? Sure do wish she was out there sailing as I along with others miss her! Hopefully someday she will be out sailing again. Wish they would do a repower project on her along with the Callaway and Clarke like they did on the Munson from steam to diesels. Maybe someday it may happen.

From my Arm chair Pilots Chair, Great Lakes Fleet may have started a five year inspection to justify the dry docking for the stern thruster repairs. ? With the Clarke on the blocks for over a week, did Fred send the deck department home for a few days? (just like they use to)
