only if it is Jones act approved.
I had not considered the Jones act implications.
Can I legally transport my recliner between Duluth and Two Harbors on my fishing boat made in Canada?
Wow!! Great question! It may take an act of Congress to use your Canadian fishing boat between US ports to transport your BoatNerds recliner. If the USCG allowed you to flag your boat USA, you have a fighting chance.
theres no way his canadian built fishing boat should get uscg approval to move any kind of stuff between american ports. that totally flies in the face of what the jones act is all about.

Late last night we were informed that our Joshua Door Furniture Store was closing immediately. All orders have been cancelled.

P.S. Thank you BoatNerds, had fun while it lasted on this April fools day with the BoatNerds Recliner. Maybe next year we can have a real USA recliner made.

Sorry, the warranty on your 1940’s chair has expired. The USCG and ABS has refused to issue a new certificate for this 1940’s chair.

Well I for one won't be buying one of those recliners.
These new ones don't have any thing near the style of mine from the 40s.
And furthermore the coffee heater is some new fangled electric gadget. You can't tell me its as good as the coal fired steam one I have in my old recliner.

Mark my words these are just cheap Chinese recliners that will be scrapped in 15 years.

I'd like one too, but only if it is directly connected to the Crapo project. That way I won't miss a thing.
I have to congratulate the moderators on today's installment. Do you have enough to publish all the April 1 stories in book form? Sure to outsell KYC.

Just called our local Joshua Door furniture store for one of the new BoatNerd recliners equipped with the marine scanner and AIS receiver. Since we have an uncle in the furniture store, we were transferred automatically to voice mail ordering system. Placed the order with the option of a heated coffee cup so I will always have hot coffee. Still waiting for a call back to confirm the order.
