Hi MN,
The weather is creeping back to normal. Just a wake up call to what is coming I guess. Water temp here is 67*.
The Calumet has been up and down the river. Cleveland Rocks is unloading stone under the bridges now.
I have been watching for the fall recreational fishing activity to fare up. But nothing yet.
I travel by the Apalache a few times a week. No activity and the For Sale signs are still up.
Frontier Sentinal exercises started up today. It should be a great test for everyone involved. I feel the after action reports will come back with preaching the basics in lines of communications.
This picture is the season's graffiti from the crews/rowers under the Carter Rd bridge.
We had a Saltie arrive this weekend from the East. It was still unloading today.
This is the aviation approach over Browns Stadium to Burke Lakefront Airport.

The Buffalo was passing as as The tug Cleveland was getting its rocks off the 'Barge.
The Cleveland National Airshow is always a treat. The Maritime setting makes the show. They buzz us when we are perched atop the building downtown. They come really close to us. We have traded waves with pilots of the military jets in the past as they sweep around heading back to the center line at Burke Lakefront.
This one I shot straight up on top of by building. They really can sneak up on you. But when they pass they take all the hairs on the back of your neck with you. Ha.
