First I want to say i'm sorry for not responding to the nice compliments for my shots of the Challenger on 7/14. Let me say Thankyou. A friend from New York emailed this page the other day and I was pleasantly surprised to say the least.
For some reason I did'nt start looking at the regional board until recently. Again thanks! I guess it was worth getting up at 04:30 to get those shots. I have never seen the river that calm. They are my favorites too!

Once again you got me a bit misty seeing the old haunts and the
Challenger steaming (!) away.
Great artistry with these!
The scene couldn't have been captured any prettier.
-Wish I were there on the 95th St. Bridge with you!
Is "Kingfisher" Seafood still there on the SW side of the bridge?

Agreed - that reflection shot through the bridges is one of the best laker photos I've ever seen - great job, Lou.

Lou - the first two shots of the Challenger from your South Chicago Wednesday Morning series are very beautiful; nice work.
