I think what they are referring to is an image that seems to appear on the hull, starboard side above the anchor pocket. There seems to be a large human face wearing a cap. This is the area that was recently repaired and repainted after the collision with the Indiana Harbor. Given that this is fresh paint and perhaps shinier than the rest of the boat, and the long exposure time, perhaps there were shadows and reflections that create this impression. The people on the bridge wing would be operating the engine controls as they back up.

Keep in mind I took this photo with a long exposure. The Callaway was moving away from the camera, and with the shutter being open, any object in motion would distort or blur. Had I used a lens with a faster F stop, less blur would have occurred.

What you are seeing is most likely a watchman stationed on the starboard bridge wing that has been distorted from their movement away from the camera. When I reviewed the image, I was happy to see that the individual(s) had stayed in one place long enough to be a part of the photo.

Did you look at the picture of the Cason J Callaway in todays photo section unloading in Green Bay? Do you see the image of a women with a watch cap appearing on the starboardd side?
