How can az pods be so well established technology elsewhere and be nothing by problems on the Mac ?

Mackinaw had a major electrical malfunction in her control system. Don't let them build another like her! You can build two conventional icebreakers for the price of one of those.

Any updates on this ? Hard to believe the entire powerplant was disabled and whe required a tow back home.

It seems as though the Mackinaw suffers breakdowns on a frequent basis. Is it the AzipodĀ® propulsion system that creates the problems?
