Mistakes sometimes happen. The news item on July 1 has been corrected.

Today's article about Shepler's being sold is old/incorrect. Shepler's was sold to the Hoffman family two years ago. Saturday morning, June 29, 2024, it was announced to employees that Mackinac Island Ferry Co. (Star Line) had agreed to be sold to the Hoffman family who also owns Sheplers.
