Jerry, I’m still amazed that Stoneport let alone anyone has a recording of expected dock arrivals! With all of the technologies we have, tracking websites and other various sites and Facebook group pages I wonder at times just how long places like Stoneport and others will continue with this type of recording? Perfect example, do you recall not too long ago when Soo Traffic the USCG there used to do a daily recording every day? Guess what they did? Yup you guessed it, they stopped doing it completely due to other tracking sites such as Marine Traffic along with others as well. Not trying to sound negative with my comments, just my point of view! So, it wouldn’t surprise me in the very least if any of these places decide that it’s time to dis-continue any recordings. Time will tell on that one!

Glad to help Guest in anyway I can. There’s also a number that is a recording of expected traffic at Stoneport that is updated sometimes. I’ve not called the number on that in quite a while though.

You can also track vessel movements daily by checking out the boatnerd AIS map for anything that may be headed into Stoneport and by checking Marine Traffic’s website as well for any vessels headed there. Hope that this helps.

Still very much in operation. Probably not mentioned much since there is no publicly accessible land-based viewing area.
