Anyone know why such a backlog of ships at anchor up in Thunder Bay, Ontario lately? I assume it’s due to the Fall Grain Rush season? Yesterday, I think I counted four vessels in port and eight more I think that were salties all at anchor waiting to load. I haven’t paid any attention but did they ever settle the rail strike? I’m wondering if this too could have any effects on the backlog of ships up in Thunder Bay at anchor? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.
