It appears that Interlake Steamship Company is conducting their company meetings up near the Soo aboard their vessels. Yesterday I noticed the James R. Barker after it had locked through downbound, went to anchor above De Tour for most of the day then while this morning I am seeing now the Herbert C. Jackson anchored up in the same location. How long and how many years has Interlake been doing these meetings? I don’t recall of them doing them before although I know it’s been going on for quite some time now that is at least. Do other companies conduct or have meetings aboard ships like Interlake does? Just curious is all.
