Agree Guest. If I’m reading the news and reports correctly, it sounds to me at least that the Cuyahoga’s crew were all very fortunate and lucky to have gotten off their ship then and nobody was hurt or killed in that incident. Even more, they are also very lucky and fortunate that the fire wasn’t rapid and spread too fast and quickly and that they were somehow able to contain it thus giving and allowing them time to get off the ship just before anything worse could’ve happened. It almost sounds to me if I’m correct here on my theory, we nearly could’ve had another fire disaster similar to what took place years ago in Toledo aboard the St. Clair as we all recall what happened there and the fact that it took several days and tons of water poured onto and into the St. Clair before the fire was finally put out! Thank goodness the Cuyahoga fire wasn’t worse than it was and that also nobody was seriously hurt or killed especially the first responders the firefighters there. Many lessons to be learned from this incident for sure and certain. Let’s hope and pray that we don’t have anything like this ever happen again. Too close for comfort there!
