Thank you, do you have sources for good histories for M.A. Hanna?

The Virginia Steamship Company, Mentor, Ohio, was incorporated 9 June 1909 at Columbus with a capitalization of $150000, incorporators being J. S. Ashley, Robert L. Ireland, Samuel Folsom, and William D. Crawford, for the purpose of owning and operating the [i]Isaac M. Scott[/i], which you will note was launched two days after the incorporation. The firm was named for the Virginia Ore Mining Company, a Hanna subsidiary, itself named for the Hanna mine near Virginia, Minnesota, and the city named in honor of the state from which most of its original inhabitants had come. Virginia Steamship Company existed solely on paper to distance Hanna's liability and as "owner" of the [i]William D. Crawford[/i], built as replacement for [i]Isaac M. Scott[/i], until sold to Midland Steamship Line, Inc., 23 March 1953, when Hanna sold two other vessels to Midland. Oddly, Virginia Steamship Company does not appear in [i]Moody's[/i] as part of Hanna or otherwise, but is the registered owner of [i]William D. Crawford[/i] until that sale.

Im trying to track down sources for the history of the Virginia Steamship Co which was a subsidiary of the M.A. Hanna Co. I'm working on the history of the Isaac M Scott and there does not seem to be a lot of information floating around. Thanks in advance for any replies.
