However, she departed lay up in Port Colborne on January 25 headed for Windsor where she will then load salt. The reason she is back out from lay up is due to the fact that the Whitefish Bay received bow damage as it was trying to get into Windsor and load salt around January 19 or so. Therefore, the Whitefish Bay never loaded in Windsor and instead proceeded to Sarnia then for Winter Lay Up at the Grain Elevator Dock. The purpose of bringing out the Frontenac is so that she can load the two salt cargoes that were intended for the Whitefish Bay.
