The Canadian Ice Service has an archive of ice charts for various areas of Canada, including the Gulf of St. Lawrence. You will need GIS software, such as ArcGIS to view the data.

The U.S. National Ice Center has charts going back to 2000 for the Great Lakes under Archives.

Historic Ice information

Does anyone know of a good source for historic Ice data for the St. Lawrence river and Gulf of St. Lawrence? I am particularly trying to figure out average and earliest ice formation at a few different spots.
