Perhaps they are doing dock trials with the engines?

Checking the webcam in Sturgeon Bay it looks like she hasn't moved yet. The tug Washington left early this morning but for Green Bay. There doesn't appear to be any more movement with the tugs along the maritime museum which can be a pretty good indicator of ships moving around at the yard.

Check your sources as there’s scaffold all the way to the top of the stacks . I live up the street and can see her from my house.

You could be right there Bob as I just now checked Marine Traffic and they show the Speer arriving at Sturgeon Bay on June 22 in the afternoon yet it doesn’t list or show when the Speer would’ve left then? I too have been wondering and thinking as far as when she will be back out and running again. If anyone has heard anything or has any updates or photos to add, please post it here on boatnerd for us all to see! Thanks so very much in advance and looking forward to them returning to service. Believe it or not everyone, I’ve not seen the Speer or photographed her now since the 2019 shipping season! That’s a very long time then isn’t it folks? Hope to see her again someday on the St. Clair River I hope then.

I heard from a source today that the Edgar b Speer was out trying her new engines. Anyone know if this is for sure? I know originally that they were supposed to be back sailing in late June.
