Was somewhat surprised to see the comment by the Sarnia Harbour representative appearing to place blame on the master of the Algoma Equinox for the grounding. Unless this particular individual has some type of evidence to support this allegation, which in reading through the excerpt of the letter to the City of Sarnia staff posted to the New Page does not appear to be the case, I would say such assertions are somewhat premature and unnecessary at this point regardless of what the investigation into the incident reveals.
