I live in Singapore and would greatly appreciate input from your local knowledge as I am getting nowhere searching elsewhere on the Internet.
I am trying to understand how mechanical damage (that looks like ice damage) could have occurred to the underwater of a ship that has traded generally in temperate/tropical waters. The Only time that I can see that she could possibly have encountered ice was on visits to Montreal in September/October 2009.
Is it possible for ice still to have been floating in the water at that time of year?
All comments would be most welcome.
