Noticed pic of Keewatin last week. Just wondering how that Canadian Pacific steamship got on the Great Lakes. Keewatin was built in the uK in 1907. Stats show it,s lenght to be 336 feet . Prior to St-Lawrence Seaway, ships transiting to old canals system were limited to app 259-260 feet. I suspect the ship was either split in half and reunited in a Great lakes shipyard or came-up via the Mississipi ect as many former WW2 ships did to be later converted to lakers . Any info wold be appreciated. Thanks
