*Capt. Burt* 269757. Steel single screw tug built 1955 at Savannah, GA, by and for B. F. Diamond, dba Diamond Construction Co. 53.3 x 15.6 x 6.4; 39 gt, 26 nt; 285-bhp, later 550-bhp. Later *Richard Merritt* (1980). Last operated by Roger Rusak, Miami, FL, based at Key West. Dropped from documentation 1999. Brought to the Great Lakes and listed on eBay in 2004. Since stored at Harsens Island.
She was one of a group of five near-sisters built by Diamond 1954-1956.
