It's been talked about in the past,every time The Sherwin is going to be converted it seems to trigger a down turn in the economy,They had talked about conversion In the ninety's and canceled because of the Economy slump,well this last time They gutted the Engine room and really were going to make it happen,and than look at Us now.

Interlake announced on 11/10/08 the conversion project was put on hold and the Sherwin was towed to DeTour, where it sits today, for long term layup.

when is the john sherwin going to leave layup? last time i checked, it was early 2010.
