Lime Island is a State Park. The cabins are beautiful, all rustic wood on the interior. Two issues though, you need your own means of transportation to the Island and there are only pit toilets and water pumps. I personally love it there but you have to get over those two issues!

Check out the cabins on Lime Island. It is either a state or national park property.

There's a few places that you can check out. I've never stayed at any of them but I believe they are all just down river from the rock cut. Enjoy your trip!

My wife and I are going to be in the Eastern UP later in August, hoping to find a cabin to rent for a couple of days near Rock Cut. Would like a spot on the river to watch the boats. Nothing fancy, but clean. Looking for recommendations.
